The 'great joy' that is coming and living as a natural example

Frederic asks whether the great joy mentioned last session was specific.

The Wonders say it is not a car, a job or children, but a joy of life so complete and absolute that he gives himself freedom to explore everything and enjoy every part of it, and that he has already begun.

All his past study was preparation; he is now recognizing that what he studied is obtuse and lacking clarity, and is discovering the clarity of the universe for himself, which lets him explore life in any direction.

They note his wife will be infused by his joy but will not reach it on her own without her own work.

His mind will resist because there is nothing tangible to hang onto, yet day by day he will find himself happier and wonder why - and what he has felt so far is about one thousandth of one percent of what is coming.

Using the analogy of an explorer who has only circled his own block and now discovers the whole world - Kilimanjaro, Everest, Tibetans, Buddhism, Mayans, Incas - they say his happiness will grow a hundred- or thousandfold.

Frederic observes he need not try to be an example; they confirm that focusing on being an example would stop it, and cite the reaction of colleagues when he left his previous job as evidence that his passing simply leaves an impact.
