The 'spirit being' exploration and what it means in this situation

Frederic reports on the previous session's assignment, saying that over recent weeks he feels as if he is living in a different world, though it is hard to describe.

The Wonders ask what his spirit being - not his ego, which made the choice - wants from this situation, and what movement he is heading toward by bringing this challenge into his life.

He answers: less control and exploring genuinely new directions.

They agree, but say there is more, and turn his own remark about the child seeming like an old soul back on him: why does his ego judge her as an old soul, where does that place him among souls, where does it place his spirit being, how does that relate to the movement around him and where is that movement going, and is it time for an ego that has been intransigent to become flexible - moving from rigidity to flexibility.

They encourage him to follow these questions through so their next conversation will not just be about changing diapers.
